Haiti Service Team
Dear Parishioners of St. Francis,
After being at Ball State for four years, I had always seen pictures of, heard parishioners talk about, and had become aware of the desperation and hunger in Plaisance, Haiti. Aside from the poverty, no visual or oral presentation could begin to describe the deep camaraderie and friendship between our two parishes. Our brothers and sisters in Haiti rely on St. Francis of Assisi daily. In their need for clean water, for medicines from the clinic at Plaebou, and for school supplies, these individuals welcome and require our assistance.... Denise Dues, '05

The Haiti Service Team has begun planning for their trip in March 2008. (More information about our relationship with St. Michael parish in Plaisance, Haiti, is available here.)
Both students (sophomores and older) and resident parishioners are encouraged to apply for positions on the Haiti Service Team. Freshmen are not eligible for this mission.
