What

Are you new to Ball State, or have you been here awhile and want a new start? The St. Francis Spring and Fall Retreats are a great way for you to come closer to God, as well as new and old friends!

Who

All undergraduate students are invited; come for a fun-filled weekend!

This past year we had over 50 students at each retreat. It is a great time to come and get to know God, others, and yourself a little better.

When

The 2007 Fall Retreat will begin at the Newman Center at 5pm on Friday, November 2nd. Everyone will attend the evening Mass and then go down to the Parish Hall for dinner. Transportation to the retreat site will be provided. Well close back at St. Francis with the 11:15am Mass on Sunday, November 4th.

The Spring Retreat is scheduled for February 15-17, 2008.

How

Applications will be made available closer to the retreat date.

Retreat will cost $30, which includes all meals and transportation. We would love for you to come, so if there are any problems with the cost, please contact Mindy Bowman at 765-288-6180.

Christ Renews His Parish (C.R.H.P.) Retreats

CRHP (pronounced "chirp") is an effective spiritual renewal process that calls parish members together to experience personal conversion and Christian community in the environment of their own parish. The program is based on the basic Christian principles of evangelization, reconciliation, formation, community, and personal vocation.

However sincere and deep our initial commitment to our faith, it requires by its very nature, continuous renewal and deepening. It must be a moment-to-moment process of saying, "yes" to God.CRHP brochure

The renewal weekend provides an opportunity for individual spiritual growth through prayer and personal reflection. You will hear and discuss (as much or as little as each individual desires) how men and women function in our modern, complex, and fast-paced society.

Any member of St. Francis who is seeking to develop a closer and deeper relationship with Christ is invited to enjoy this weekend of fellowship, exploring the Gospel and how it impacts our lives, and praying for the grace to impact our families and communities in a meaningful way.

There is no registration fee.

Those who participate in a renewal weekend become the retreat team leaders for the next CRHP retreat, continuing to meet and grow as a spiritual community as they prepare to share their experiences with others.
