The St. Francis Fish Fry has been an annual event since 1979. Held on a Friday evening during Lent in the Parish Hall, it's an event not to be missed!
The 29th annual Fish Fry will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008, at 4:30pm.
Please call Paul Newport at 765-284-1114 to volunteer.
On Friday nights, come over to the Newman House and share a homemade meal and fellowship — for only $3.00! Dinner starts at 6:30pm. Ball State students sign up each week to cook for the whole group. With your Newman Center keychain, buy five Friday Night Dinners and get the sixth one free!
The Friendship Circle, a non-denominational social group for seniors, has been in existence for over 25 years at St. Francis. Membership now numbers more than 50.
Meetings will be from 12-2pm in the Parish Hall on the second Tuesday of October, December, February, and April. Each meeting features a speaker or entertainer, plus refreshments. In the past, they've learned about such topics as English Tea, line dancing, the history of Ball jars, and antiques.
Please call Trudy Pellegrini at 765-288-3166 with any questions.
We kick off the school year with an ice cream social under the tent in front of the Newman House. Please join us on Wednesday, August 22nd at 8pm!
Oktoberfest will be held from 5-10pm on Saturday, October 6th. Volunteers are needed! Please call the office to see how you and your family can help out.
Everyone had a great time at Ball State's 80th Homecoming... except, maybe, the boys in red. Better luck next year, Cardinals!
Brush off your dancing shoes and don your formal wear for this annual event that brings student- and resident-parishioners together for an evening of great food and footloose fun. The Parish Gala is organized by the Catholic Student Union, and will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008.
